About The Position

The position involves ensuring that guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food and beverage items, maintaining an organized and clean work area, and controlling inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. The role also requires receiving deliveries from vendors and ensuring proper storage of products. Additionally, the employee will report to the department manager when supplies need to be ordered, stock and inventory products, and respond to customer questions regarding general information about the facility. Support to food servers and beverage cart attendants is also part of the job to ensure excellent service to members and guests. The employee must maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management, communicate guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director of Food and Beverage and Chef, and review the schedule for changes, calendar of events, and facility activities daily. The position also involves processing snack bar purchases with the EZLinks point of sales (POS) system and being accountable for cash and check transactions. Safe work practices must be incorporated into job performance, and other duties may be required as needed.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary but will train.
  • Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol.
  • Must have obtained Certified Food Handler's Card.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems is preferred.
