About The Position

The Beverage Cart Server provides spectacular customer service primarily by operating the golf course’s beverage cart. This role involves working collaboratively with the Food & Beverage Team, handling accurate cash transactions, preparing and tracking inventory on the beverage cart, and exercising professional judgment in alcohol service. The server is expected to uphold service standards, greet guests in a friendly manner, possess a working knowledge of beverage selections to make recommendations, and adhere to all required alcohol service regulations, including training for intervention procedures and Wing Point's policies, procedures, and dress code standards. Additionally, the server will convey pertinent information to the Pro Shop regarding course concerns and may assist with special events related to food & beverage needs.

Requirements

  • Organized and able to carry out tasks at the direction of the supervisor
  • Has a working knowledge of food handling and follows health and safety standards
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both guests and employees
  • Able to work well with others in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect
  • One year of food handling experience necessary
  • Food Handler’s card required within 30 days of employment
  • Must successfully obtain a TIPS card and Class 12 Mixologist certification within 60 days of employment
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Have a valid WA State Driver’s License with a favorable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with F&B Team members to provide service to guests
  • Completes accurate cash handling transactions and follows cash handling policies and procedures
  • Prepares beverage cart at the commencement/conclusion of shift by loading and unloading products
  • Tracks inventory in a method consistent with training
  • Understands and exercises professional judgment relative to alcohol service
  • Follows Wing Point's policies and procedures and health and safety standards
  • Strives to uphold and promote service standards and greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Possesses a working knowledge of beverage selections and is able to make recommendations to guests
  • Adheres to all required alcohol service regulations and follows the training for intervention procedures consistently
  • Adheres to dress code standards set by Wing Point
  • Conveys pertinent information to the Pro Shop relative to concerns or potential issues on the course as observed during beverage cart service
  • May assist with special events as necessary relative to food & beverage needs
  • Other duties as assigned by management
