About The Position

The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for completing opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors. Key tasks involve setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas with items like ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and removing soiled wares. The role requires maintaining cleanliness, following company safety and security policies, reporting incidents, and completing safety training. The attendant must ensure a professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. A significant part of the role involves guest service, including welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking them. The attendant is expected to communicate professionally, foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and ensure quality standards. The position involves physical demands such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, grasping objects, moving over uneven surfaces, and reaching. Responsibilities

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors.
  • Check with captain or supervisor before leaving at end of shift.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Support team to reach common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
