As a Beverage Cart Attendant at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will provide beverage service and all of the components involved at the highest level on the Golf Course without disrupting play. Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. Requirements

  • High school or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve or pour alcohol.
  • One year or more of bar service in an upscale resort
  • Able to read, write and speak verbally in English
  • Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with all department management, staff, personnel and general public.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Fully understands the drink menu and wine list
  • Responsible for the complete service on golf course.
  • Meticulously cleans and resets the beverage cart during rounds and at the end of the day.
  • Has the ability to use the POS efficiently and manage cart inventory.
  • Must be proficient in multi-tasking and managing designated stations.
  • Must comply with opening and closing as well as running side work necessities.
  • Direct and consistent communication with the culinary and management team.
  • Processes guests' checks and submits closing paperwork in a timely manner
  • Listens to and resolves customer complaints regarding service, product and personnel.
  • Must effectively delegate service responsibilities to the assisting staff. Eg. Bussers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
