About The Position
Overlake Golf & Country Club (OGCC) was originally established in 1927 on this beautiful site in the hidden neighborhood of Medina, Washington. It has evolved over the years into a family country club with modern values and has become a place where the members gather to enjoy dining, social activities, golf, tennis, and aquatics with family, friends, and business associates. We are known as the premier family club in the Pacific Northwest, and we take great pride in our unrivaled hospitality, our commitment to environmental stewardship, and in developing our staff. We are seeking Seasonal Beverage Cart Attendants to join our Golf Operations team. This is a unique position for hospitality-focused individuals who enjoy working outdoors and serving our members on the course. We are a non-tipping facility. Requirements
- Must be willing to complete a background check.
- MAST Permit and Food Handler’s Permit required or willing to obtain.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently and on the move for long periods.
- Able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Enthusiastic and service-driven personality.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate the beverage cart on the golf course, providing snacks, beverages, and light food items to golfers.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the cart throughout the shift.
- Provide exceptional and engaging service to members, enhancing the golf experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and responsibly handle cash and credit card payments.
- Comply with liquor laws and OGCC policies, ensuring responsible alcohol service at all times.
- Monitor product inventory and communicate restocking needs to the appropriate team.
- Assist with other Golf Operations or Food & Beverage tasks as needed, including events.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working in various weather conditions.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including safe food handling procedures.
