About The Position

Juniper Preserve is hiring seasonal, part‑time Beverage Cart Attendants to join our hospitality team for the upcoming season! We’re looking for friendly, service‑oriented individuals who enjoy working outdoors and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Summary: Takes food and beverage orders, pours beverages, prepares food, delivers food and beverages, busses tables, calculates, presents and processes checks while constantly providing exceptional service to all members, guests and co-workers.

Requirements

  • Able to pass a drug test and pre-employment criminal background check.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company approved uniform at all times.
  • Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately.
  • Must be able to safely operate and drive beverage cart.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma Preferred and/or 1-2 years of bartending and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course and assists Bev Cart Attendant as needed.
  • Clean, stock and restock beverage cart following set protocol.
  • Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette as set forth by the Director of Golf.
  • Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
  • Answer questions about menu items and beverages including their ingredients, preparation, accompanying items and make recommendations. Inform customers of daily specials.
  • Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water and sugar to prepare cocktails and other drinks to Pronghorn specifications.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and OLCC standard operating procedures.
  • Take orders from guests for food and/or beverage items.
  • Enter orders and modifications into the POS system quickly, in proper sequence and use appropriate abbreviation.
  • Serve or deliver food and/or beverages to guests.
  • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meal and experience and take action to correct any problems.
  • Prepare and present checks, collect payments on checks by having checks signed by members or process a credit card.
  • Uphold the standards and expectations of food quality and production set forth by Pronghorn Resort.
  • Helps in physical set-up of social functions, events and tournaments.
  • Sets up a snack bar, maintains and cleans all necessary utensils and equipment for food preparation.
  • Labels, dates, rotate and stores all items produced. Obtains Chef’s approval on all products made.
  • Maintains appropriate inventory levels with communication with Chef/ F&B Manager.
  • Ensures equipment is operated, cleaned, sanitized and maintained consistently and properly.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly side work duties set by F&B Manager or Asst. Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events and club activities on a daily basis.
  • Attend scheduled training seminars and department meetings.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Maintains a professional standard at Pronghorn including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence.
  • Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests.
  • Supports and adheres to the CORE Values (ie. “The T.R.I.P.”) Service Fundamentals and Guest Service Philosophy as defined by the Company.
  • Participate in and support company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Pronghorn program.
  • Maintains positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager and Assist.

  • Support Food & Beverage teams by providing assistance in various areas as needed to ensure smooth operations.
