The Snack Bar and Beverage Cart Attendant position at Arlington Lakes Golf Club is a fun, customer-focused role in a lively golf course and beverage service, and help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience on and off the course. Snack Bar/Beverage Cart: Responsible for the daily operation, sales, maintenance and cleanliness of the beverage cart at Arlington Lakes Golf Course. This position has an age requirement of 19 years old This position requires an active Basset certification and food handlers certification within 30 days. Part-Time Wages ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Sets up Beverage Cart with appropriate number and type of beverages according to inventory list set by Arlington Lakes Golf Club Replenishes Beverage Cart snack items, such as pretzels, chips, Performs checks on products used in cart to see if dates of expiry are valid Takes drink and food orders from golf course players and collects money for items served Mixes a variety of items to prepare correct drink recipes and pours wine, beer, pop, and other non- mixed beverages Maintains knowledge of beverage pricing and provide guests with checks and processes on an immediate basis Restocks cart with ice, beverages, snacks, Keeps beverage cart fueled and cleaned at the end of each shift Attends work on a regular basis Performs the job safely and in compliance with District policies, procedures, work and safety rules, and the employee handbook Maintains a clean and organized work environment Additional functions as assigned which may be considered essential SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Standing for sustained periods of time while completing work Repetitive hand/arm movements such as when mixing drinks or stocking the bar Some bending, kneeling and reaching for items off floor and high shelves Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. in bar-related products, storage boxes and other supplies. General work area an indoor, smoke-free environment with controlled temperature and LED lighting Occasional exposure to natural and potentially extreme weather conditions while working on the patio or in the beverage cart Golf at the Arlington Heights Park District provides 27 holes of play at two courses and a driving Range. Arlington Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-68 course that has been a local favorite for over 40 years. Superbly manicured greens, tees, & fairways combine with an excellent design to provide a quality course for players of all levels. Nickol Knoll Golf Club is built on 56 hilly acres and is one of the most unique par 3 courses in the state. Three holes feature vertical-drop tee shots and two holes boast up-hill shots to the green. The 9-hole, par-3 course features 27 sand bunkers, and water comes into play on two of the nine holes. Sunset Meadows Driving Range and Golf Learning Center has twenty-five hitting stations that are lighted for extended evening use with four target greens for additional course-like atmosphere. There is also a practice green available.
