About The Position

Monarch Casino Resort in Black Hawk is a 23-story resort with over 500 rooms, 4 restaurants, and one of the country's top spas. The Monarch Casino Resort Spa is looking for a passionate Banquet Manager to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and Team Members.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience.
Open availability to potentially work all 3 shifts.
Maintain an updated knowledge of the brands of beer, wine and liquors being offered for consumption at the bars and the current prices.
Knowledge of Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
Adhere to, enforce and practice all alocoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations.
Continuously watch for signs of intoxication for the protection and enjoyment of our guests.
Adhere to all grooming standards.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned side work and maintain a clean work area.
Take and correctly ring in drink orders, delivering them promptly to guests.
Follow casino/department drink service policies and check IDs to verify guests' age.
Monitor guests for safe alcohol consumption and provide recommendations for wine, beer, or spirits.
Clear beverages and other items according to sanitation standards and stock service items as needed.
