Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Beverage Attendant to join our resort team. The ideal candidate will perform the duties of a bartender, including preparing and serving beverages, while also managing monthly inventory tasks to ensure efficient operation of the bar. Key responsibilities include: Prepare and Serve Beverages: Mix and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guests' requests and resort standards. Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences. Menu Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the bar menu, including seasonal specials and signature cocktails. Compliance: Verify the identification and age of customers to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements. Inventory Management: Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed. Monthly Inventory: Conduct monthly inventory checks to track stock levels, identify shortages, and report discrepancies. Cleanliness: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times. Payment Handling: Process payments, manage receipts, and balance the register at the end of each shift. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience. Entertainment: Engage with guests at the bar, providing a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. Food Safety and Health Compliance: Adhere to food safety and health department regulations, including proper sanitation practices, regular hand washing, and maintaining cleanliness in food and beverage preparation areas What makes Hilton Grand Vacations unique? Requirements

  • 2 years of proven experience as a bartender or beverage attendant in a resort, hotel, or similar setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills for handling payment transactions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and carry heavy items, such as trays of drinks.
  • Flexible availability; on-call.

Nice To Haves

  • Up to date certifications in TIPS and a Food Handlers permit is a plus.
  • Previous experience with inventory management
  • Relevant training or certification in bartending
