We are looking for a culinary professional to join our growing team. The person in this position will help play a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding BETA’s existing hospitality team. The ideal candidate will enjoy all aspects of food service and hospitality, possess an understanding of cooking fundamentals, able to work in a collaborative team and promote our culture of inclusiveness and creativity. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Coordinate with teams to prioritize, respond to, and communicate BETA Eats needs Ensure facilities reflect BETA’s standard of excellence in the aerospace industry. Simple, organized and clean Willingness to be flexible and take on a variety of roles to support BETA’s mission Show up to work every day with high energy, be dependable, stay organized and be willing to juggle multiple tasks Help support set up, cleanup and planning of both large and small company events. Events may take place at any of our locations and in some instances may require travel Ability to coordinate with the cleaning contractors and effectively communicate company needs and standards Keep sidewalks and corridors free of debris Help stage meetings when appropriate Keep the foyer and entrance clean, organized, and staged Help keep dining facilities clean and stocked Keep bathrooms and back of house spaces clean and tidy Supplement the efforts of the nightly cleaning crew Help the Eats team during lunch service to ensure the quickest possible delivery and support them with cleanup efforts Help with planning and organizing spaces Helping with ordering and stocking basic sundries

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and great organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to assist in problem solving and independent decision making
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation and allergens
  • Being a self-starter

Nice To Haves

  • Servsafe certified
  • Computer literate
  • Hospitality industry experience
