About The Position

The Bartender at Nationals Park is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly and timely manner while adhering to liquor regulations. This role involves maintaining the bar area, ensuring product quality, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
• Sets up assigned bars and stocks all necessary supplies.
• Maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes.
• Greets guests courteously and takes drink orders.
• Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard recipes.
• Checks guests for proper identification and detects inebriation.
• Receives cash from guests and ensures proper transaction handling.
• Locks up and stores all beverage products and cash securely.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive display in the bar area.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other assigned duties.
