About The Position
The Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program at Johnson Controls is a 6-month technical sales development initiative designed for recent college graduates. This program focuses on creating market share by strategically selling Johnson Controls' HVAC products and services to commercial customers. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their technical engineering knowledge and business acumen to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions. The program includes a combination of classroom training, field orientation, and on-the-job training, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to support customers in their territories alongside the sales team. Throughout the program, participants will learn about mechanical equipment and service offerings, customer relationship techniques, and essential leadership skills. They will engage with architects, engineers, and building owners to consult on product selections and collaborate with internal experts to achieve business goals. This role is critical to the local sales team and connects participants to a national network of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and encouraging team environment. The program is set to start on January 6, 2025, or June 9, 2025, and is targeted at individuals graduating in December 2024 or May/June 2025.
