About The Position

Schedule : 20 hours/week, day shift The Grief Counselor implements the agency's Grief Services. Provides or arranges for grief services to families and friends after the death of community members. Assists in the delivery of grief support services to the community including some individual and group counseling. Acts as a resource for and provides training to staff and volunteers on grief. Provides flexible scheduling to allow for some evening and/or weekend groups or classes. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.
  • Coursework/Training and Grief or Loss Counseling
  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

  • 1 year of Clinical experience in a health-care setting
