About The Position

This position is for a BEOL (Back End Of Line) Integration Engineer to be a part of a Technology Development Integration engineering team participating in advanced technology development and manufacturing implementation in GlobalFoundries’ state of the art 300mm wafer fab (Fab8) in Malta, New York. The position is a Principal level within Global Foundries.

Requirements

• Graduating with Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
• Fluency in English (Written & Verbal).

• Experience in BEOL process integration or multiple process modules in a semiconductor fabrication setting.
• Experience in Silicon Photonics is a Plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, develop and/or implement 45nm Si-Photonics technology to meet GlobalFoundries’ technology roadmap requirements.
• Work closely with module engineering organizations to meet all customer technology and company cost and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with module engineering organizations to develop integration scheme in the BEOL module.
• Optimize existing BEOL modules to improve inline, ET, defectivity and yield performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with reliability organizations to qualify BEOL modules to meet the technology reliability requirement.
• Work on new customer product introduction into the Fab.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
