About The Position

The duties of this position primarily include scanning and pulling/re-shelving and handling rare material for researchers. Additional duties include various stacks projects and assisting the stacks manager as needed.

Requirements

  • UT Austin student enrolled in minimum of 6 credits for the Fall 2025 semester.
  • Ability to climb stairs, as the rare books stacks are only accessible by narrow staircases.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills.

Responsibilities
