Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Benign/Classical Hematologist for a busy, non-malignant hematology practice located in Charlotte, NC. This position is part of an Integrated Network Cancer Program, affiliated with the malignant hematology program, and benefits from a significant referral base from primary care physicians and other specialists within the Novant Health network. The role is primarily clinical, with opportunities for clinical research if desired. The practice is staffed by one physician provider and three advanced practice providers (APPs), and there is excellent support from the pathology department, blood bank, radiology, intensive care, and other specialist services. Novant Health has experienced tremendous growth over the past five years, particularly in the Cancer Institute, with a new multi-million dollar Cancer Institute building located in uptown Charlotte. The organization values clinical research and has made significant investments to expand services, including benign and malignant hematology, stem cell transplant, cellular therapy, and integrative medicine for patient-centered care. The hematology program includes an Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) designation.
