We are proud to promote an equal employment opportunity workplace. The retail operator is to run the retail equipment. a. Stage the material that is needed for the run. b. Keep the equipment running efficiently. i. Monitor fat moisture and salt levels from the benhil HMI. If the butter falls out of spec stop the lines and evaluate the situation. ii. Run hourly checks on the equipment, to ensure proper operations. iii. Run the equipment above 190 sticks per minute on average. c. Notify the retail tech of any repairs that are needed. d. Keep the equipment stocked with materials during the runs. i. Run the equipment above 190 sticks per minute on average. e. Retail operators are to check the prints on the cartons and cases to make sure the carton print, and case print correspond with each other. i. At the start of the run retail operators will input the information for the best by date, Lot code, and USDA#. The information will be provided to them at the start of each shift. 2. During CIP’s a. Retail Operators are to shut down the retail lines and close off all paperwork for the run. b. Remove all the material from the room that is no longer needed. Warehouse personnel will store the material in the warehouse. c. All remelt will be run through the metal detector with the presence of QA and removed from the room. d. Retail operators are to clean the retail line they are assigned to for the day. e. Once all the cleaning is done call QA to let them know that the equipment is ready for the pre operations check (Preop). f. Aid the bulk operators during the start up of the churn.
