About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Benefits Leave Specialist to temporarily join our Human Capital Benefits Team. This position is crucial for managing and responding to various leave requests, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term and long-term disability, parental leave, and other company-specific leave programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of leave administration, including compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other state-specific leave laws. This role requires impeccable attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage timely and sensitive requests with professionalism and empathy. As a Benefits Leave Specialist, you will serve as the Tier 1 support/contact for employees regarding leave-related inquiries. You will provide clear and concise information to employees navigating the leave process, ensuring they understand their rights and options. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing weekly timekeeping reports for employees on leave and accurately tracking leave usage via our leave management system. Coordination with leave vendors and Leave Case Managers will also be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all absences are managed effectively and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
