About The Position
Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is seeking a collaborative, innovative and organized individual for our Benefits Specialist position. This position is responsible for benefits administration, managing employee leaves, workers compensation administration and a variety of other functions for the human resources department. This position works in collaboration with our Human Resources and Business Office team to continuously improve our systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Our school district is in the heart of a vibrant, supportive, active, and rural community in eastern Chittenden County between Burlington and Montpelier. We serve five schools preK-4, two middle schools grades 5-8 and one comprehensive high school 9-12. Our schools maintain impassioned faculty, committed staff and a supportive and inclusive work environment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of education and experience required.
- Basic understanding of state and federal employment and education laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
