About The Position
The Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and responding to employee inquiries regarding various benefit programs, including vacation, short-term and long-term disability leave, workers' compensation, 401k plans, pension and retirement plans, and other employee benefits. This role involves delivering presentations on benefit programs, explaining complex insurance aspects, and coordinating the administration of employee benefit programs. The specialist will also assist with the annual enrollment process and facilitate leave of absences, ensuring compliance with FMLA regulations.
