About The Position

Benefits/HRIS Coordinator - 3 days in office & 2 days remote - hybrid! Great Role with a Great HR Team! Coordinate and maintain benefit enrollment, qualifying events, and terminations of all the benefit programs, such as health insurance and retirement. Respond to employee questions and concerns. Presents Benefits to New hires and supports employee enrollment. Provides support and maintenance of the HRIS system. Maintains benefit information on the internal intranet website Partners with Vendor to support employee Wellness Programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Two to four years of experience with human resources including benefits administration and HRIS systems
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, problem solve and be detail orientated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge in using Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Supports annual employee open enrollment process.
  • Serves as a first responder for COBRA, FSA, HSA, Medical/Dental plans, Life and Disability plans, and 401(k)
  • Processes benefit changes within HRIS.
  • Recommends and implements process improvements/changes.
  • Assists in the design and development of communication materials.
  • COBRA Administration; processes qualifying events
  • FSA, HRA and HSA Administration
  • Benefit plan billing (Dental, Vision, Life and Disability)
  • Administers employee life cycle data entry and ensures data integrity.
  • Ensures adherence to system schedules.
  • Engages vendors concerning system problems and assists in resolving employee system issues.
  • Assists with user training.
  • Assists in providing system access.
  • Provides basic reporting assistance
