About The Position

Benefits and HRIS Administrator owns benefits administration, HR technology, and compliance reporting for a healthcare workforce in a hospital environment. This role supports clinical and non-clinical teams across departments and shifts, ensuring benefits execution and system infrastructure meet regulatory, operational, and employee experience standards in a 24/7 care setting.

Requirements

2+ years of benefits administration or HRIS ownership in a clinical or hospital environment
Deep knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, benefits billing, and healthcare compliance frameworks
HRIS proficiency with experience managing secure workflows and high-volume clinical populations

Responsibilities

Administer benefits enrollment for nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, allied health, and operational hospital staff
Manage HRIS data integrity that supports clinical departments, job codes, shift classifications, and regulatory workforce reporting
Execute open enrollment, life event changes, COBRA, and ACA administration with communication plans tailored to clinical shift schedules
Reconcile benefits billing for large clinical populations, ensuring alignment between HRIS, payroll, and benefits vendors
Generate compliance reporting for healthcare regulations including HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and state and city healthcare-related requirements
Manage system permissions and workflows that support clinical HR functions, secure employee data, and hospital reporting needs
Train hospital employees and leaders on HRIS self-service, benefits platforms, and internal workflow updates
Build dashboards that support hospital workforce insights including clinical staffing trends, benefits participation, and compliance metrics
Serve as the primary benefits and HRIS contact for hospital staff across shifts
Maintain audit-ready benefits and HRIS documentation that meets hospital compliance standards
