Acts as liaison between clients, insurance carriers and producers, managing client relationships, renewals, open enrollment and day-to-day benefit inquiries. Ensures plan compliance, analyze coverage options, resolve issues, and drive retention by providing guidance on health, dental, vision, life and disability plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or applicable minimum of 3 + years client services and/or experience in insurance, benefits administration, and account management
  • Ability to obtain Life, Accident, and Health insurance license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains strong client relationship management by serving as a contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and fostering long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborates with various internal departments to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Works with carrier representatives to coordinate activity for the smooth implementation of new plans.
  • Conducts proactive meetings through conference calls and possibly onsite meetings to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Gathers client census data, current / renewal plan design and rate information, historical claims experience data, and any additionally related materials required to prepare RFP for client renewals and prospective groups.
  • Coordinates annual renewals, negotiating with carriers for best rates, gathering data, and preparing proposals/presentations.
  • Handles plan changes, enrollments, terminations, and billing issues.
  • Organizes open enrollment meetings and guide employees through selection of plans.
  • Troubleshoots escalated claims and coverage issues.
  • Maintains all client information in accordance with both company procedures and HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure the client data is accurate and current upon each renewal and throughout the policy period.
  • Follows company procedures to achieve positive audit results.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
