About The Position

The Benefits Analyst at Rehrig Pacific Company is responsible for ensuring that the company's benefits plans align with business objectives and are competitive and comprehensive. This role involves conducting analytical reviews of various data, monitoring regulatory updates, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The analyst will also support open enrollment processes and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the company's total rewards initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of benefits analytical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel including pivot tables.
  • Working knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow or equivalent HRIS.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous analysis of benefits plans to ensure cost-effectiveness, competitiveness, and compliance.
  • Support open enrollment by configuring benefits administration, testing, and reviewing plan documents.
  • Review employer/employee cost-sharing structures to ensure competitiveness and alignment with the company's budget.
  • Establish monitoring controls for retirement plans administration, including 401k, profit sharing, and ESOP.
  • Partner with third-party administrators to create simplified financial strategies for retirement planning.
  • Assist with annual 401(k) true-ups and discretionary profit-sharing contributions.
  • Collaborate with brokers and external resources to stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Work with accounting and finance teams for monthly accruals, annual budgeting, and audits related to total rewards data.
  • Analyze claims utilization data, market trends, and costs in partnership with leadership and brokers.
  • Develop processes and monitor integration files for retirement values in total reward statements.
