The Benefits Analyst I will be responsible for working with the account team in processing renewals, conducting and analyzing marketing, preparing financial summaries, and providing general technical support for assigned accounts. This role involves gathering, reviewing, and validating all information related to assigned clients for renewal analysis and marketing purposes, gaining comprehensive familiarity with the client's current details and history. The analyst will coordinate with the account team to understand the strategy for client renewal and define roles and responsibilities, revisiting as needed throughout the renewal development process. The position requires understanding and clarifying a clear outline of renewal project action items, including all deadlines. The analyst will collaborate with all current insurance carriers and vendors to obtain preliminary and/or firm renewals and prepare initial financial summaries and benefit highlights. Presenting preliminary renewal summaries to the account team to determine plan options and/or marketing strategy is also a key responsibility. The analyst will execute all relevant plan option requests, marketing projects, and necessary analysis to complete account strategy objectives, review all marketing and plan option responses, evaluate for accuracy and completeness, and request clarifications and revisions as needed. Additionally, the analyst will present all marketing results and plan options to the account team, work with them to develop negotiation strategies, and execute those strategies. Updating financial summaries and benefit highlight comparisons with all final negotiation results and presenting all final results to the account team is essential. The analyst will also determine the content and structure of renewal presentations and identify additional analytical support materials. Completing all final sold documentation and communication, as well as handling ongoing client maintenance projects, are also part of the role.
