About The Position
As a Benefits Advisor at Elderplan, you will play a crucial role in presenting our comprehensive Elderplan Benefit Package to the 65+ population. Your primary responsibility will be to enroll eligible participants into our Medicare and Medicaid managed care health plans, which are designed to help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life. You will engage with prospects in their homes and various community locations, ensuring that they understand the benefits available to them. This position is integral to our strategic goals at Elderplan and MJHS, as we strive to expand our services in response to the needs of our patients and members. In this role, you will be expected to adhere to the guidelines set forth by Elderplan, Medicare + Choice, Medicaid, New York State, and the American Association of Health Plans (AAHP). Your ability to communicate effectively and present information clearly will be essential in helping potential members make informed decisions about their healthcare options. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of enrollments and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
