About The Position

We are excited to announce a full-time Benefits Account Executive position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by performing the underwriting, quoting, and processing of new and renewal group benefit plans.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service
  • Comprehensive written and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Federal and state laws regarding employee benefits and insurance sales, COBRA, PPACA, ERISA, Section 125, etc.
  • One year of benefits experience
  • Florida 2-15 license
  • Knowledge of business profitability and risk management

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the main point of contact to current and prospective clients regarding their offer of group benefit plans such as health, dental, life, disability, etc.
  • Provides a consultative review and analysis of a client's existing benefit plans.
  • Underwrites, identifies, prepares comparisons, and clearly presents benefit plans to clients.
  • Performs timely follow-up with clients and maintains data in Pipeline.
  • Processes renewals in a timely manner to the client and provides alternatives as necessary.
  • Assists brokers and direct sales staff to ensure clear presentations by providing rates and plan comparisons, product information, and guidance.
  • Provides the Benefits Administration Summary (BAS) or BAS Addendum, as needed, to the Benefits Implementation Specialist.
  • Coordinates hand-off of process to the designated Benefits Specialist.
  • Assists with annual open enrollment, roll out of new products, etc.
