About The Position

The Benefits Accommodation Specialist at United Wholesale Mortgage is responsible for managing ADA accommodations and medical instances related to team members. This role involves working closely with the benefits team to ensure compliance and support for team members returning to work safely after medical leave. The specialist will also assist with various benefit-related tasks and maintain accurate records of team member benefits.

Requirements

• High sense of urgency and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, HRIS, and other MS Office products.
• Strong communication skills with a high level of service to team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to show empathy and care in all situations.
• Desire to learn and innovate with a positive attitude.

• HR Degree or experience in HR/Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Handle ADA accommodation requests and work with team members to provide necessary documentation.
• Be on call for urgent medical cases related to team members across multiple buildings.
• Record and inform necessary individuals about medical cases and accommodations.
• Assist team members in returning to the office safely after medical leave.
• Conduct quarterly audits and summaries related to the role.
• Administer various benefit programs, including group insurance and health maintenance programs.
• Prepare and maintain team member benefit files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Organize and participate in meetings related to job tasks.
