Under general supervision, responsible for validating the accuracy and completion of employee benefit claim forms, and processes claims under the organization's various benefit plans, including but not limited to group insurance, basic and major medical coverage and other benefits. Responsibilities Processes benefits enrollment and qualified status changes for employees and retirees while maintaining online benefits eligibility and coverage records. Informs employees regarding benefit eligibility and coverage. Transmits or arranges for correct benefit claim checks to employees. Facilitates new hire orientation on a regular basis to explain benefit coverage and enrollment procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned.
