About The Position

We serve over 150,000 members with counseling on their pension, deferred compensation plan, long-term disability, and life insurance benefits as well as paying benefits to our members. MOSERS is seeking an individual for our Benefit Counselor opening. This position reports to the Assistant Benefit Officer and is based in our office in Jefferson City. Our Benefit Counselors play an integral role on our team by providing excellent customer service to our members. You'll work in a team-oriented environment, counseling members over the phone and in-person regarding their MOSERS pension, life insurance, and long term disability insurance benefits, in addition to evaluating complex benefit scenarios.
