Headquartered in Kansas City, we provide nationwide customized benefit communication and administrative services supporting clients' HR departments and their individual employees. The Benefit Engagement Specialist (BES) is responsible for creating impeccable service by driving opportunities to conduct individual personalized benefit review sessions to educate and enroll on all core and voluntary benefit insurance products while building business relationships with our clients primarily in a face-to-face onsite environment operating at the client's workplace. The Specialist is directly responsible for influencing the client-facing relationship by ensuring that the client's leadership and each employee have a comprehensive understanding of our company's model and their benefit options.

  • Conduct individual personalized benefit review sessions to educate and enroll employees on core and voluntary benefit insurance products.
  • Build business relationships with clients in a face-to-face onsite environment.
  • Engage in purpose-driven dialogue with department leaders and provide support while exercising independent judgment.
  • Participate in HR/Benefit meetings, NEO presentations, and group meetings for client's managers.
  • Create an approachable environment to counsel employees about their benefit options and coverages.
  • Accurately input and capture employee enrollment decisions using appropriate system platforms or paper application processes.
  • Obtain and maintain an active Life, Health, and Accident Insurance Producer's License and meet licensing requirements.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the client's annual open enrollment process and adapt to annual open enrollment periods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and employees.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and respond to impromptu service requests.
  • Knowledge of insurance mechanics and benefit options.
  • Active Life, Health, and Accident Insurance Producer's License or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience in benefit communication or HR support roles.
  • Familiarity with open enrollment processes and employee benefits.
  • Annual base salary range of $50,000 - $55,000 plus incentive pay metrics.
  • Hybrid work model requiring three days onsite and two days remote.
