About The Position

The Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian Benefactor Program was created and implemented by Hoag Hospital Foundation staff in partnership with Hoag Hospital administration and hospital staff. The Benefactor Program is a concierge program designed to steward our highest-level donors to Hoag. The Benefactor Team DOES NOT impact the speed, type, or level of medical care that Hoag Supporters receive from our medical staff. All patients receive the same quality of medical care at Hoag. The Benefactor Program Liaisons must be willing to work on an on-call basis to support Hoag Hospital Foundation Benefactor Program and be available to come to the hospital to assist our Benefactors (and/or their immediate family members/friends) as needed, any time during assigned day, evening, night, weekend or holiday shifts based on the monthly calendar. The Benefactor Program Liaison is responsible for meeting with the Benefactor and/or their immediate family members/friends and spend time sitting with them, talking to, and assisting them and their family members with any concierge-type needs or requests. Will meet Benefactors for scheduled appointments and surgeries and act as liaison for the Benefactor and/or their family for the duration of their appointment or surgery at Hoag. Will act as liaison for the Benefactor and/or family members to hospital staff in the ECU and other departments/units of the hospital. Will schedule requested appointments within Hoag and with outside physician offices and perform patient pre-registration. The Benefactor Program Liaison will notify Department/Unit directors of scheduled Benefactor appointments or surgeries and will contact physician offices to obtain procedural orders prior to patient arrival for scheduled test or procedure. Perform other duties as assigned.
