About The Position

TAT-Technologies Tulsa Site is recognized as a world leader in the Aerospace Industry, providing high-value alternatives for Heat Transfer manufacturing and MRO to Commercial, Regional, Rotary Aircraft, and Military customers globally. TAT-Technologies Tulsa Site in Tulsa, OK is looking for an experienced Bench mechanic / Air Test Pressure (ATP) Technician for its Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) operations.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent
  • 2 or more years mechanical experience preferred
  • Must be able to work 1st shift hours typically 6:30am to 3pm with overtime and weekends as business need demands
  • Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance following new employee training
  • Must have good command of the English language; oral and written
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Must be able to display good judgement regarding quality & safety
  • Must be willing and able to learn and apply new skills
  • Working knowledge and ability to do industrial math calculations and work to tight tolerances
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements: ability to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have the ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
  • Must have the ability to pass pre-hire background check screening

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs
  • Assist in retaining and maintaining all on-site records in both hard copy and electronic form
  • Continuously update and utilize an electronic, online maintenance tracking mechanism to allow for efficient maintenance planning, time limit item tracking
  • Adhere to company policies including all safety compliances
  • Manages material readiness, inventory and accountability of all maintenance related materials, specifically aviation parts, and tooling
  • Read and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and Structural Repair Manuals
  • Other duties as assigned
