Requirements

• Previous Experience: Proven experience as a bench jeweler is essential, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Certification and/or Education: Relevant certification and/or formal education in jewelry making is a plus.
• Bench Test: Ability to pass a bench test to demonstrate technical skills and craftsmanship.
• Commitment to Personal Excellence: Consistently demonstrate high-quality workmanship and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship.
• Strong Attention to Detail: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of jewelry creation and repair.
• Well-Organized and Good at Multi-Tasking: Manage multiple projects efficiently while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Inclusive Team Player with a Positive Attitude: Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a supportive and productive work environment.
• Dependable: Be reliable and punctual, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
• Passion for the Jewelry Industry: Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for jewelry and a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Stone Setting: Precisely set stones into various types of jewelry using techniques such as prong, bezel, and pave settings.
• Stone Replacement: Replace damaged or missing stones with accuracy, ensuring secure and visually appealing results.
• Sizing: Resize rings and other jewelry pieces to fit customer specifications while maintaining structural integrity.
• Cleaning and Polishing: Clean and polish jewelry to achieve a high-quality finish and restore the original shine.
