About The Position

The Jeweler will service and repair clients' jewelry repairs while providing excellent quality and turnaround time, following all posted processes to bring damaged jewelry up to the standards required. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in jewelry repairs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and skill in the areas of sizing, chain repair, prong and stone setting repairs, stone tightening, shank work, all types of stone setting, and polishing or other finishing techniques.
  • Must have laser welding experience.
  • Must have experience using a microscope.
  • Must be able to read and understand instructions to complete repairs.
  • Must be willing to train and share knowledge and experience.
  • Must be organized and able to communicate with others.
  • Must pass a bench test.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of invisible set repairs, a plus.
  • Production experience, a plus.
  • Experience in laser engraving a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe accountability of various gemstones, diamonds, metal used in repairs and customers jewelry.
  • Be able to perform 20 repairs per day to meet goals and objectives.
