About The Position

Join Signet Jewelers' Field Design & Service Center Team as a Jeweler, where you can start your career as an Apprentice Jeweler and work your way up to a Bench Jeweler. This role offers opportunities for growth and skill development in a promote-from-within environment, allowing you to advance from beginner to artisan. You will be responsible for restoring jewelry and designing custom pieces while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required
• 1-3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant experience in skilled trades working with fine metals
• Ability to pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Customer service-oriented with a high standard for quality work
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of stone setting
• Experience in polishing and jewelry repair

Responsibilities

• Complete administrative and clerical tasks
• Polish jewelry and perform jewelry repairs
• Set stones and size jewelry
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds
• Conduct minor ring repairs and other jewelry repairs
• Engage in wax carving, fabrication, and casting
• Design and create custom jewelry pieces
• Utilize CAD/CAM design work as needed
