About The Position

Delta Technologies is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for a Bench Hand who can deburr. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions.

Requirements

Knowledge to use benching power tools (grinders, profilers, etc.).
Knowledge to identify part from shut off as well as master shut off areas.
Knowledge of the different steels of trade and the polishing traits.
Knowledge of the different stones, papers, polishing compounds and their use.
Knowledge of the SP finishes of the trade.
Ability to use measuring equipment to verify dimensions (micrometers, telescoping gauges, calipers, dial indicators, etc.).
Good comprehension of mold design required.
Must have good interpersonal skills, intermediate computer skills, ability to multitask, and good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Polish cavities to high finishes.
Draw polishing ribs.
Basic disassemble and assemble of molds.
Contour ejector pins.
Spot hand loaded loose pieces and parting line.
Spot cores, cavities, slides and lifters.
Bench and polish to A-2 finish.
Provide an efficient lineup for the next shift.
Maintain and repair molds.
Maintain adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
