We're searching for a business-savvy, people-oriented, food-loving Bench Store Manager to help us elevate our guest experience and operations. As a Bench Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. You’ll offer strategic insights, support our guest experience teams, and collaborate with the management team. You'll step into the Store Manager role as opportunities arise, ensuring our stores consistently deliver top-notch service.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States and be 18 years or older.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (2-year college degree preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in food service or retail store management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a high-performing team.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for confident communication with internal and external customers.
  • Organization: Enjoys planning, goal setting, problem-solving, and project management.
  • Business Skills: Proficiency in P&L analysis, and technology.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to our corporate headquarters in La Plata, MD for training events.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active for 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

  • Create Excellent Guest Experiences: Guide our guests on a memorable journey, ensuring their favorite items are always available and the store is in pristine condition.
  • Build Teams and Leaders: Recruit, train, and develop a diverse, people-focused team. Support their growth with skills training.
  • Grow Sales and Manage Inventory: Lead with expertise in managing top-line sales and inventory. Build strong vendor relationships and ensure sales growth through effective order execution and adherence to brand standards.
  • Operate with Brand Excellence: Maintain our store to impress every guest. Ensure staffing levels are optimal and the store is always ready for special guests or mystery shoppers.
  • Lead Food Safety and Operations: Manage our food operations like a seasoned pro. Ensure all team members are ServSafe certified and protect food margins through consistent PAR execution.
