About The Position

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining belt press equipment to ensure efficient dewatering of sludge and other materials. The operator will monitor the performance of the equipment, making necessary adjustments to optimize output and quality. The operator plays a key role in ensuring the dewatering process runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical awareness, and the ability to work in industrial environments. Some travel around the Houston area will be required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous belt press operation required.
Previous experience operating industrial machinery and basic hand/power tools.
Basic mechanical skills and understanding of equipment maintenance.

Nice To Haves

Certification in industrial machinery operation or related field.
Experience in wastewater treatment or similar industries.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

General maintenance and operation of a belt press.
Clean equipment and the surrounding area.
Abide by regulatory compliance and safety guidelines.
Operate additional pumps on site.
Maintain production log.
Operates Belt Press by adjusting operational settings. Polymer dosing, belt speed and pressure, sludge feed rates.
Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain consistent processing performance.
Performs basic machine routine maintenance.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
Travel to 3-4 different sites in the Houston area is REQUIRED.
