About The Position

The Belonging and Community Engagement Program Coordinator supports key initiatives that center on student belonging, inclusive programming, and student engagement within the broader context of the college's community engagement strategy. This role reports directly to the Chief of Belonging & Community Engagement. In addition, this position works closely with the Directors of Belonging and Bonner Scholars, supporting projects such as Solidarity Week, Berry Impact, and student-facing logistics across the office's initiatives. The position serves as a connector between belonging, service, and strategic initiatives on campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, communications, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in student engagement, community programming, or related work
• Strong communication and organizational skills, especially in cross-functional and student-facing contexts
• Demonstrated commitment to Berry's Good Neighbor Culture and a restorative, community-focused approach
• Familiarity with student support, civic engagement, or service-learning programs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus-wide programming that connects student belonging and community engagement, including events such as Solidarity Week, Be Love Week, and other student-facing initiatives.
• Provide programming and administrative support for the Bonner Scholars Program, including orientation, training, and leadership development.
• Support implementation of Berry Impact and the Year of Service program, including communication, logistics, and student engagement.
• Promote and assist with identity-based programming and initiatives that foster inclusion and connection among students.
• Help plan and execute trainings, workshops, and events tied to student development and Good Neighbor Culture.
• Serve as a connector for student organizations engaged in service, social justice, or belonging-related work.
• Collaborate with graduate assistants to track participation and support data management related to programs and events.
• Assist in GivePulse coordination as it relates to student-facing tracking and engagement.
• Liaise between student workers and professional staff across programs, helping guide workflow and student development.
