JOB SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Bell person/Doorperson is to ensure the smooth flow of guests in and out of the Hotel. As a Bell person/Doorperson you will engage in the first contact with guests of the Hotel and must always maintain a professional presence and attitude. As a Bell person/Doorperson you must possess a fluid knowledge and understanding of the local area, community events, and activities available to guests of the Hotel and be able to drive standard and automatic vehicles.

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Top level customer service experience
• Must be able to drive standard and automatic vehicles
• Valid VA Drivers license
• Climbing stairs
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Walking

• Hearing and manual dexterity

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist all arriving guests by helping unload luggage from vehicle.
• Assist guests with luggage to and from rooms.
• Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities and directions.
• Ensure hotel entrance is free of litter and debris at all times.
• Respond to guest needs promptly in delivering items such as dry cleaning, newspapers, packages.
• Greet guests upon arrival.
• Act as hotel shuttle driver safely transports guests between the hotel and nearby locations, providing friendly service
