About The Position

The position involves greeting and welcoming guests as they enter the hotel, assisting with luggage handling for both arriving and departing guests. The role requires informing guests about safety features, available services, and promoting hotel outlets. Responsibilities include storing guest luggage, calling taxis, maintaining paperwork, supervising group baggage transfers, and ensuring the check-in station is organized and effective. The position also involves maintaining cleanliness in various areas and safely operating guest vehicles.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have excellent customer relations skills.
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and computational ability.
  • Valid driver's license and meet company insurance requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years full-time verifiable driving experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage.
  • Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets.
  • Offer information about available services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading luggage.
  • Call taxis for guests as requested.
  • Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork.
  • Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries.
  • Maintain the check-in station for appearance and operational effectiveness.
  • Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies.
  • Promote a positive working environment for all associates.
  • Complete daily tasks including maintenance and cleanliness of various areas.
  • Safely operate guest vehicles and obey traffic laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
