Locally, since 2018, SMP Alabama has been producing modules and polymer products for Mercedes Benz US International (MBUSI) in our state-of-the-art facilities. Parts we produce include: Interior door panels, Front and Rear Bumpers, Grills, Claddings, Rear Spoilers, Rocker Panels, and Running Boards. The Bell Technician position is crucial for maintaining the devices, pumps, spray guns, and other equipment used in lacquer processing. The ideal candidate should possess a strong mechanical aptitude, have completed vocational training in mechanics, and have knowledge in the implementation of spray guns and coloristic installations. The role requires troubleshooting skills, reliability, and commercial thinking, as well as the ability to handle detergents and solvents effectively. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that the paint shop operates with minimal downtime and maximizes the benefits of the operating facilities through professional maintenance and fault elimination.
