About The Position

Professionals in this position will recruit students to the new Bell engineering program (based at Iron Range Engineering in Virginia, MN), lead on-campus activities while students are taking part in the 5-month on-site intensive training period (the Bell Academy), mentor and facilitate the professional and design development of the student engineers while they are on-campus and on co-op placement, and liaison with industries (nation-wide) that employ the co-op students.

Requirements

  • B.S. or B. A. degree.
  • 1 year of experience in engineering practice or college program recruiting or industry relations or higher education program delivery or technical communication or program development/ assessment.

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in initiating contacts with potential partners
  • Basic understanding of science and engineering disciplines
  • Advanced understanding of engineering professional skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills (using spreadsheets and/or database technology)
  • Ability to participate in program development and assessment
