As a Bell Person at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springfield Airport Plaza, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality services to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include arranging accommodations, recommending local dining and entertainment options, and making reservations to ensure a memorable stay for our guests. You will be the first point of contact for guests, greeting them with a warm welcome and assisting them with their needs throughout their stay. This position requires a confident, patient, and helpful attitude to tend to guests' needs effectively. The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which means you will need to be flexible with your working hours, including variations in shift days and starting times. You will interact with guests regularly, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor while responding to inquiries about hotel services. Your role will also involve coordinating transportation, events, and other accommodations to enhance customer satisfaction. Addressing guest complaints and implementing appropriate solutions will be essential to maintaining a positive rapport with guests. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to answer phone calls, emails, and other messages, record incoming and outgoing deliveries, and listen to guests' concerns, presenting reports to hotel management as necessary. You will assist with luggage and check-in processes when needed and recommend local attractions and dining options based on guests' interests. This position may also require you to assist other departments as needed, showcasing your teamwork and flexibility in a dynamic hotel environment.
