The Bell Person greets guests with a warm welcome at the hotel entrance and provides services related to the transportation and storage of luggage, along with other guest services. This role involves loading and unloading luggage carts, tagging and storing luggage, escorting guests to their rooms, and providing an overview of guest room features, hotel services, and amenities. The Bell Person also makes deliveries to guest rooms, assists with room changes, and stocks the pantry when needed. They maintain information on local attractions, transportation guides, and other relevant local resources. Additionally, the role may involve performing house attendant functions during staff shortages. The Bell Person is expected to be aware of guest satisfaction scores and actively work towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction, follow sustainability guidelines, practice safe work habits, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
