About The Position

Provides friendly and efficient service to guests while transporting their baggage from the Bell Desk to their room or vehicle. Requirements

  • One (1) year of experience in customer service.
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Casino Hotel Resort services.
  • Knowledge of local area.

Responsibilities

  • Greet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms.
  • Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks.
  • Transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, vehicles, banquet storage room by hand or using baggage carts.
  • Arrange for shipments of baggage, express mail, and parcels by providing weighing and billing services.
  • Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs.
  • Compute and complete charge slips for services rendered and maintain records.
  • Deliver messages and room service orders and run errands for guests.
  • Explain the operation of room features such as locks, ventilation systems, and televisions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must attend and complete are required departmental training.
  • Builds professional relationships with guests while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.
  • Builds relationships with guests (or community, etc.) based upon respect while maintaining a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
  • Works collaboratively to deliver the highest degree of service to the guest.
