About The Position

The Bell Person is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by assisting with luggage, offering concierge services, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience during their stay. This role involves direct interaction with guests, managing luggage storage and retrieval, and maintaining accurate records of services provided.

Requirements

  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • 5 years of safe driving experience in a vehicle.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.
  • Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Gaming License.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Casino/Hotel experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, direct, and assist all guests.
  • Inform guests of approximate time frame for bell service.
  • Offer assistance with luggage placement.
  • Provide room orientation and ice service to guests.
  • Promote concierge services and other hotel amenities.
  • Inquire about guests' stay and offer transportation assistance.
  • Write luggage tickets accurately and neatly.
  • Deliver, retrieve, and store luggage for guests.
  • Load and unload luggage from vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records for bus groups' luggage.
  • Answer a high volume of phone calls professionally.
  • Store and retrieve luggage in the luggage room as assigned.
  • Complete required room slip information and submit to Bell Captain after each front.
  • Deliver and retrieve boxes, packages, and envelopes for guests.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance according to Bell Desk policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
