About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a part time BELL PERSON position at the University of Texas at Austin. The schedule is full time with days varying from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, including weekdays and weekends. Prior guest services experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service are available at select locations. The position involves assisting in the transport and storage of guest luggage, acknowledging guests, delivering packages and messages, greeting guests, and ensuring cleanliness of luggage storage areas.

Requirements

• Prior guest services experience is required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to drive and operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles, including sub-compact, compact, full-size, SUV, vans, and golf carts

Responsibilities

• Assist in the transport and storage of guest luggage to guest room and conference center
• Acknowledge guests as they pass and offer assistance when necessary
• Responsible for the delivery of packages, messages and any other items for delivery within the Hotel
• Ready at the door to greet and welcome guests
• Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities and inform guests of said amenities
• Ensure cleanliness of luggage storage area and bell carts
