About The Position

The Bell/Luggage Attendant at the Warner Center Marriott plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience during their arrival and departure. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and respond to questions.
  • Knowledge of hotel services and local area events.
  • Ability to drive vans, limousines, and automobiles with an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to handle luggage up to 75 lbs. with manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit continuously while performing job functions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and local attractions.

Responsibilities

  • Show guests to their rooms and assist with luggage.
  • Explain hotel facilities, their locations, hours of operation, and answer guest questions.
  • Check luggage for hotel guests for both day and overnight stays.
  • Maintain the designated station in the lobby and be readily available for guests.
  • Open doors and greet guests in a friendly manner.
  • Keep the bell stand, lobby, and baggage room clean.
  • Post daily events and entertainment boards in the lobby.
  • Maintain open communication through proper use of intershift logs.
  • Deliver messages and valet services to guest rooms.
  • Perform timely pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport for guests.
  • Assist the front desk with key inventory twice weekly.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
